In 1963, Ross Rankin obtained his auctioneer apprentice license and began working auctions in his mid 30's. First introduced to auctions by accompanying his father to livestock sales, Ross learned the craft from area callers and soon passed the business down the family line. His son Gary received his auctioneering license in 1983 and continues his work calling bids today. Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Dan obtained his license in 1997. Now four generations strong, the business is truly a family operation, with each auctioneer being heavily supported behind the scenes from their wives and children. The family credits their success to their faithful workers and loyal buyers. No matter who is on the auction stand, the Rankins continue to strive for the same regard for integrity that the business was founded upon.
